Enter the case facts once. The document that drives every number is a tree of assumptions you can read, edit and mark reviewed, one line at a time.
Choose accepted methods and jurisdiction rules
Pick each method from a fixed library. Venue rules on file for the released jurisdictions pre-fill the assumptions they govern and are cited in the appendix.
Compute in the browser and on the server with a hash gate
The workspace recalculates as you type. Before an export, the server recomputes from the saved rows and refuses to generate unless both results match.
Export frozen versions that replay
Each version stores its inputs, the data snapshot and the result hash. A later replay recomputes the version and reports whether it still reproduces.

Questions
What does MVQS Damages compute?
Economic losses in personal injury, wrongful death and employment matters: lost earnings and earning capacity, fringe benefits, household services, mitigation and residual earnings, taxes where the venue requires them, discounting to present value and prejudgment interest. Each figure follows from a method you selected and an input you reviewed, and the exhibits and the appendix show both.
Which jurisdictions are covered at launch?
Venue rule files ship for Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, plus the federal rules for FELA and Jones Act claims. A rule file pre-fills the assumptions the venue governs and cites the authority in the appendix. For any other venue the case runs on your firm's own defaults, and the appendix states that no venue rules are on file.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources, bundled in versioned snapshots: Bureau of Labor Statistics wage, benefit-cost and hourly-earnings series, the Consumer Price Index, CDC life tables, Treasury par yield curves, Census earnings tables and IRS tax brackets. A snapshot records every dataset's vintage and SHA-256 checksum, a case pins the snapshot it was built with, and the appendix cites each dataset by publisher and vintage.
Can I use copyrighted tables, such as worklife expectancy tables?
Yes. Copyrighted tables are not bundled. You enter the values you are licensed to use with a structured citation (author, year and publication), and the appendix prints that citation beside the figure it supports. The public datasets ship with the application; everything else remains the expert's responsibility, and the exhibits make clear which is which.
How does replay work?
Every export is a version: the assumption document, the pinned data snapshot, the engine version and the result hash are frozen together. Replay recomputes the version with the current engine and reports whether the hash still matches. A weekly job replays every version on the server and alerts the operator when one no longer reproduces, so drift is found long before a hearing.
How does MVQS Damages relate to MVQS Online?
Both are MVQS products from the same publisher. MVQS Online performs the vocational evaluation and establishes earning capacity; MVQS Damages turns an earning-capacity opinion into present-value damages exhibits. Today the two applications run separately, with separate accounts and separate billing, and nothing is shared between them. A single sign-in is planned but is not part of this release.
